J.Behling: Broad Brook, Connecticut; I am new to blogging and relatively new to teaching. I changed careers at the ripe age of 45! This is my fourth year teaching English at the secondary level. I started at the middle school and loved the kids at that age. Downsizing moved me up to the high school level, where I am now in my second year. I teach between two high schools and move between 3 classrooms, so that makes it a bit of a challenge, especially trying to incorporate technology. I am married and have two children, both in college working to become educators as well : ) My youngest "child", Katie, is our 5 yr. old yellow lab who helps to keep us young. I am looking forward to using more technology in the classroom, and hearing from other educators who are either already tech-savvy or working at it!
